Spendid

Spendid is a collaborative finance SaaS project for personal, household, and small-business use. I contributed ideas from KasMate and reviewed workflows as the product expanded to shared workspaces, invitations, subscriptions, and invoicing.

Overview

Spendid is a collaborative finance SaaS project for personal, household, and small-business use. I contributed ideas from KasMate and reviewed workflows as the product expanded to shared workspaces, invitations, subscriptions, and invoicing.

Attribution

My contribution covers product ideas, workflow input, and review. Rasmad Ibnu and the Naestra team primarily developed the implementation in the current repository. I do not claim that implementation as my sole engineering work.

Context

Shared and business finances introduce questions about invitations, permissions, workspace ownership, and billing. My review work considered how those requirements fit the transaction, budget, debt, and invoice flows.

My Role

  • Contributed product perspective derived from building KasMate.
  • Discussed finance workflows and expected user behavior.
  • Participated in product review and collaborative direction.
  • Evaluated how personal-finance concepts could expand into shared and business workspaces.

Product Architecture

At a high level, the product uses a Next.js frontend, a NestJS API, PostgreSQL, a background worker, and Redis-backed jobs. It includes multi-workspace access, finance modules, billing concepts, and responsive interfaces.

Results

This collaboration gave me a way to apply lessons from KasMate to shared and business finance workflows. My contribution on this page is product input and review; the credited team owns the implementation work.

Limitations

  • The current source repository is private.
  • Technical implementation claims belong to the credited engineering contributors.
  • Production readiness and live-service status are not asserted in this portfolio.

Technology Context

Publication Note

This page summarizes the collaboration at a high level. Private code, internal screenshots, customer information, commercial configuration, and repository links are excluded. More detailed material requires permission from the product owners.
